The West Island Communities

West Island Living

Approximately 30 minutes drive from the city brings you to the West Island, one of Montreal’s most preferred residential areas.

Here you will find tree-lined streets, parks and playing fields, pretty village shopping areas and large shopping malls, libraries, cinemas, restaurants to suit your style and taste.

Keep your whole family in form! Take up a new challenge at one of the sports arenas - or enjoy Olympic-quality coaching at one of the indoor pools – or relax, make friends & party at one of the many (summer!) outdoor community pools. You could play a round of golf in the summer and cross country ski or toboggan the same area in winter – and downhill ski-ing for all levels is close-by. Whatever your sport, you are likely to be able to find it here.

There is no shortage of cultural events in the area – cultural centres and libraries regularly host musical events, plays for the family, and speakers on a multitude of topics, as well as rotating art exhibits from local clubs. And for your intellectual stimulation there are many Continuing Education courses offered by local colleges and school boards.

Easily accessible by the main transportation systems – Pierre Elliott Trudeau international airport in Dorval, highways 20 & 40, train & coach services to Ottawa & Toronto, 2 local train services and a network of local bus services.

On this page to the right we have provided links to the city halls of the West Island communities, for lots of information on the quality of lifestyle in each of the boroughs.

In this section right here, you can link to our mini-tours, for some interesting demographics of the population for many of the communities. Beaconsfield, Dollard, Kirkland, Pointe Claire,
Sainte Anne de Bellevue, Dorval, Senneville.

Finally, you can also link right here to our photo gallery section to view what we are calling 'almost' landmarks for many of the West Island areas. See how many you can identify!
And don't miss seeing some of our sold properties from throughout the West Island and Ile Bizard in that section as well.
